Trogodišnja djevojčica Karina Chikitova živi sa majkomu Sibiru.
Djevojčica je pred svoj četvrti rođendan poželjela da vidi oca koji živi u drugom selu.
Išla je Karina i ranije kod oca jer selo nije mnogo udaljeno od njenog.
Kada je došla u selo oca joj nije bilo pa je krenula da ga nađe.
Tražeši oca lutala je šumom u koju i odrasli ne zalaze alo nisu naoružani.
U šumama je mnogo vukova i medvjeda a sa djevojčicom je bio njen pas.
Kako je nije bilo ni kod oca ni majke zabrinuli su se.
Temperature zamo padaju ispod nule pa je počela potraga za djevojčicom.
Jedanaest dana je trajala potraga i onda se u selu pojavio njen pas i doveo je
mještanbe do djevojčice.
Pratili su psa i nisu mogli da vjeruju svojim očima šta vide.
