Ovo mjesto ima posebno značenje za njega, jer je ovdje ne samo on rođen, već i njegov djed i pradjed, a sada ovdje odrastaju i njegova djeca.

Branko je u djetinjstvu pokazivao introvertne sklonosti, a prelazio je četiri kilometra svaki dan do osnovne škole u svom rodnom gradu, koju je uspješno završio. Njegova prvobitna želja bila je postati vozač kamiona, pa je upisao Srednju saobraćajnu školu u Zemunu.

Kako bi se financijski uzdržavao, preuzimao je različite uloge unutar omladinske zadruge. No, tijekom tog razdoblja, počela se razvijati njegova strast prema glumi, a to ga je na kraju odvelo prema kazalištu.
